Kids Discover Sailing is for younger students of about 7 or 8 years old who might want to try sailing before signing up for longer lessons.

• There is a high ratio of instructors to students to maximize learning in a short time.
  
• The classes are short while giving the students a taste of how much fun sailing can be.
  
• The students sail in Optimist sailboats with one child per Opti.
  
• The focus is on safety, fun and guided instruction with lots of time on and in the water including a swim test on the first day.
